Michael Beasley joined the Suns with a reputation for, among other things, being a dynamic scorer.

Though he averaged just 11.5 points per game on fewer than 11 shooting attempts last season, the 23-year-old put up 19.2 points per night on 17.1 attempts the previous year.

To his credit, Beasley, like Gentry said, has been working hard, but is also walking the fine line between aggressiveness and out of control shooting.

"It's kind of hard for me...my last two teams they kind of wanted me to be a playmaker," Beasley said. "You know, just pass up a shot or two just to get my teammates open.

Beasley said the coaches are not necessarily telling him to shoot the ball every chance he gets, but are making sure he is taking advantage of good looks when he gets them.

"If the shot's there, take it," he said.

小畢說，教練跟他說只要一有機會，就大膽出手吧！但是依然還是要判斷時機，良好再出手啦！
