In his prime, Tracy McGrady was two-time NBA scoring champion, dunking on dudes on a regular basis.

Now in the twilight of his career at the age of 33, T-Mac has opted to take his aging basketball talents to China to finish his career.

The seven-time NBA all-star announced on Wednesday that he's headed to play for the Qingdao DoubleStar Eagles of the Chinese Basketball Association via his website with a post titled, "Goodbye NBA, Hello China."

Multiple Chinese media outlets are reporting the one-year contract is worth $1 million.

McGrady, who last played for the Atlanta Hawks and saw his career production dwindle due to multiple injuries, expressed excitement to play in China, but treated his departure to the NBA as a farewell.

T-Mac在個人網站PO的告別NBA文稿讀起來倒比較像是入選名人堂的演說(XD)。他列出一長串他想要感謝的人的名單，包刮了Mugsy Bogues、Stephen A. Smith和Jeff Van Gundy。

He even thanked Kobe Bryant.

"Kobe, you made me work harder and it was an honor to play against you," he wrote.

Could McGrady be the next Stephon Marbury and get a statue in China for his basketball efforts? Marbury led the Beijing Ducks to the CBA championship in the 2011-12 season and has revitalized his career away from the NBA.
